If your power goes out, switch off all lights, except for one, so you will know when your power has been restored. Keep your refrigerator closed to keep food cold for longer.

Some power outages have been reported. Residents can report and monitor outages through Southern California Edison’s Outage Center.

Canine Rescue Club

Volunteers are needed to offer temporary foster care for dogs displaced by the fires. You can apply to temporarily house an affected dog by filing out an online form.
The Anderson Munger Family YMCA and the Koreatown YMCA Center for Community Well-being

Both locations are accepting essential donations items for victims, including unopened food — bread, jam and canned goods — clothing, blankets, emergency supplies and dog and cat food.

The Bike Oven

A community-run workshop serving northeast Los Angeles, is currently open as a drop-off location for supplies for those dealing with the Eaton fire. You can donate basic hygiene products, toiletries, N95 masks or respirators, pet food, power banks, batteries, blankets, and sleeping bags. Items can be dropped off at 3706 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles 90065.

Food donations are being accepted between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM at two distribution centers: 1734 East 41st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90058 and 2300 Pellissier Place, Industry, CA 90601.

Donations are needed for food and water bowls, extra-large crates and blankets for the more than 100 animals they have taken in for emergency boarding amid wildfire evacuations.
